STP125G is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic in preclinical development, designed to target apolipoprotein C3 (ApoC3) mRNA. Developed using Sirnaomics' proprietary GalAhead mxRNA technology, STP125G aims to silence ApoC3 expression, thereby reducing triglyceride levels and lowering the risk of cardiovascular events. ApoC3 is a key regulator of triglyceride metabolism and has been implicated in cardiovascular, metabolic, and neurological disease risk. Preclinical studies in non-human primates have demonstrated dose-dependent silencing of ApoC3 with sustained efficacy and an excellent safety profile at high doses. The drug is being developed primarily for hypertriglyceridemia and other cardiovascular diseases[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8].
