STP144G is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic candidate developed by Sirnaomics. It specifically targets Complement Factor B (CFB), a key protein in the alternative pathway of the complement system, which plays a central role in immune-mediated diseases. The siRNA construct is conjugated with an N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) ligand to facilitate targeted delivery to hepatocytes via subcutaneous injection. STP144G is being developed for the treatment of complement-mediated immunologic diseases, including atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS) and other complement-related disorders. Preclinical studies have demonstrated efficacy in cell culture and animal models, and IND-enabling studies have been completed to support advancement into clinical trials[1][2][3][5].
