Overview

STP145G is an investigational GalNAc-conjugated small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic developed by Sirnaomics. It is designed to target and silence the expression of the **Factor XI** (FXI) gene in the liver. By inhibiting the production of FXI, a key component of the intrinsic coagulation pathway, STP145G aims to provide a potent antithrombotic effect with a reduced risk of bleeding compared to traditional anticoagulants. The drug utilizes Sirnaomics' proprietary GalAhead delivery platform, which employs a unique 'mxRNA' (miniaturized RNAi) structure consisting of a single-stranded hairpin RNA molecule. This platform is optimized for subcutaneous administration and liver-specific targeting via the asialoglycoprotein receptor (ASGPR).
