Overview

STP237G is a GalNAc-conjugated small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic developed by Sirnaomics for the treatment of hypertension and hypertriglyceridemia. Utilizing the company's proprietary GalAhead (muRNA) platform, the drug is designed to simultaneously silence the expression of two distinct targets: Angiotensinogen (AGT) and Apolipoprotein C-III (APOC3). By targeting AGT, the drug aims to lower blood pressure through the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, while targeting APOC3 aims to reduce triglyceride levels. The GalNAc conjugation facilitates liver-specific delivery via the asialoglycoprotein receptor (ASGPR) following subcutaneous administration. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
