Drug intelligence / Profile preview
STR-0002 is a non-engineered, non-pathogenic, naturally occurring human oncolytic virus being developed by SATOR Therapeutics. It is designed to selectively infect and lyse cancer cells while simultaneously stimulating a systemic anti-tumor immune response. Part of a broader library of oncolytic viruses, STR-0002 is intended for systemic administration via intravenous infusion. It is currently being advanced for the treatment of mesothelioma and glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), with the goal of potentially being used in combination with other viruses to enhance efficacy and mitigate the impact of neutralizing antibodies.
