Drug intelligence / Profile preview
STR-50 is a pan-somatostatin receptor (SSTR) targeting radiopharmaceutical theranostic being developed by Starget Pharma. It is designed for both the diagnostic imaging and therapeutic treatment of neuroendocrine tumors (NET). Unlike many existing SSTR-targeted agents that primarily target the SSTR2 subtype, STR-50 is engineered to bind across multiple SSTR subtypes (pan-SSTR), potentially providing a more comprehensive approach for tumors with heterogeneous receptor expression. The program is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development.
