STR001

STR001 is an investigational small molecule drug developed by Strekin AG for the treatment of sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL). It acts as a potent agonist of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ), aiming to protect and restore auditory hair cells in the inner ear following acute hearing loss events. The drug has demonstrated otoprotective properties in preclinical models, promoting hair cell survival and functional recovery after cochlear injury.
