Drug intelligence / Profile preview
STRO-006 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting integrin beta-6 (also known as integrin αvβ6 or ITGB6). It is being developed by Sutro Biopharma for the treatment of multiple solid tumors. The drug leverages a proprietary cell-free protein synthesis platform to generate a highly specific and selective antibody against ITGB6, a validated target overexpressed in various cancers. The ADC format allows for targeted delivery of cytotoxic payloads directly to tumor cells expressing ITGB6, aiming to maximize anti-tumor efficacy while minimizing off-target toxicity. Preclinical data have demonstrated encouraging pharmacokinetics, anti-tumor activity at clinically relevant dose levels, and favorable tolerability profiles compared to first-generation ITGB6 ADCs[1][4][7].
