Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Strong Wakamoto is a long-established Japanese gastrointestinal remedy formulated to provide three main functions: digestive aid, intestinal regulation, and nutritional supplementation. Developed by Wakamoto Pharmaceutical, the product is classified as a designated quasi-drug in Japan. It is formulated with three primary naturally derived active components: Aspergillus oryzae NK culture powder (a proprietary koji mold strain that produces digestive enzymes like amylase and protease to assist in food breakdown), a lactic acid bacteria culture powder (specifically Streptococcus faecalis, which helps suppress harmful intestinal flora and regulate bowel movements), and dried brewer's yeast (which provides essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals to combat physical fatigue and support overall nutrition). Strong Wakamoto is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, including indigestion, stomach heaviness, abdominal bloating, constipation, and loose stools, as well as for nutritional fortification.
