Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Stronger Neo-Minophagen C** is a prescription intravenous fixed-dose combination developed and manufactured by Minophagen Pharmaceutical for chronic liver disease–associated abnormal hepatic function and selected allergic/inflammatory disorders. Each standard 20 mL presentation contains glycyrrhizic acid 40 mg as monoammonium glycyrrhizinate, glycine 400 mg, and L-cysteine 20 mg as L-cysteine hydrochloride hydrate. Its principal pharmacologically active component is glycyrrhizin, a licorice-derived triterpenoid saponin with anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic activity; the product suppresses production of inflammatory mediators and is used clinically to relieve hepatic inflammation and improve hepatic function.
