STUNIC is a branded generic small molecule medication developed and manufactured by the Indonesian pharmaceutical company Triman. Its active ingredient is ambroxol hydrochloride (30 mg), a mucolytic and secretolytic agent. STUNIC functions by breaking down the structure of thick mucus in the respiratory tract, reducing its viscosity, and stimulating the production of pulmonary surfactant. These actions facilitate the clearance of secretions and improve breathing in patients with respiratory conditions. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory tract disorders, including bronchial asthma and exacerbations of bronchitis.
