Drug intelligence / Profile preview
STX-6398 is a first-in-class, oral small molecule drug candidate being developed by Soley Therapeutics. It targets cytoskeleton-associated protein 2 (CKAP2), a protein previously considered undruggable. STX-6398 works by modulating CKAP2 to exert selective anti-tumor activity. The drug was identified through Soley's integrated cell stress platform, which focuses on translating cell stress biology into novel therapeutics for targets inaccessible to traditional drug development. Preclinical studies have demonstrated its anti-tumor efficacy in both in vitro and in vivo models, with data presented at the AACR 2026 conference.
