Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Suhe Granules (苏合颗粒) is a 1.1-class innovative Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) drug developed through a collaboration between Chongqing Juqi Nuomei Pharmaceutical and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. It is an oral herbal formulation based on classical experience formulas, specifically developed under the leadership of Professor Wang Ting. As a multi-component TCM preparation, it does not have a single defined molecular target but operates through the synergistic effects of its herbal constituents. The drug received clinical trial approval from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in early 2023 (Approval No. 2023LP00288) and is currently in Phase 1 clinical development. Its research and development were supported by the National Science and Technology Major Project.
