Sulongga-4

Sulongga-4 is a traditional Mongolian medicine (TMM) formula developed by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region International Mongolian Medicine Hospital for the treatment of acute infectious diarrhea. The formulation is a combination of four medicinal herbs: *Stellera chamaejasme* L., *Terminalia chebula* Retz., *Zingiber officinale* Rosc., and *Piper longum* L. It is traditionally used to clear heat, detoxify, and harmonize the stomach and intestines. Clinical studies and traditional use indicate that Sulongga-4 possesses potent antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activities, effectively reducing the frequency of bowel movements and alleviating symptoms such as abdominal pain and vomiting associated with intestinal infections. It is currently utilized as a hospital-made preparation in Inner Mongolia, China.
