Summavac R

Summavac R is an oral bacterial ribosomal vaccine developed by Laboratorio Pablo Cassará for the prevention and treatment of recurrent respiratory tract infections. It consists of a combination of bacterial ribosomal antigens derived from *Klebsiella pneumoniae*, *Streptococcus pneumoniae*, *Streptococcus pyogenes*, and *Haemophilus influenzae*, along with membrane antigens from *Klebsiella pneumoniae*. The vaccine acts as an immunostimulant, triggering both innate and adaptive immune responses by mimicking a natural infection. It stimulates the production of secretory IgA and activates T-lymphocytes and natural killer cells, thereby enhancing the body's defense against common respiratory pathogens. It is typically administered as oral tablets.
