Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Sunbless Gel is a topical broad-spectrum sunscreen formulation developed and marketed by La Pristine Bioceuticals. It is designed as a silicone-based gel to provide high-level protection against both ultraviolet A (UVA) and ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation, typically offering SPF 50+ and PA+++ ratings. The product contains a synergistic combination of chemical UV filters, including octyl methoxycinnamate, diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine, and ethylhexyl triazone. These agents work by absorbing and dissipating UV energy, thereby preventing sunburn, erythema, and long-term cutaneous damage such as photoaging and skin cancer. The silicone gel vehicle is intended to provide a non-greasy, matte finish suitable for various skin types, including oily and acne-prone skin.
