Sunitinib + sorafenib + bevacizumab + pazopanib is a theoretical combination of four anti-cancer agents, each individually used in the management of advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Sunitinib, sorafenib, and pazopanib are small molecule multi-targeted receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) inhibitors. They primarily work by blocking various kinases involved in tumor growth and angiogenesis, such as vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFRs), platelet-derived growth factor receptors (PDGFRs), and c-KIT. Sorafenib also inhibits RAF kinases. Bevacizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that specifically targets vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), thereby inhibiting angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels that supply tumors). This combination, while comprising agents used in RCC treatment, is not a standard or approved fixed-dose regimen due to significant overlap in mechanisms and potential for cumulative toxicities.
