Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Suoquan Huichun is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed for the treatment of genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM). It is a hospital-specific prescription (hospital preparation) utilized by the International Peace Maternity & Child Health Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The formulation is based on the principles of tonifying the kidney and consolidating the bladder, drawing from the classic Suoquan Wan formula, with additional components intended for rejuvenation (Huichun) to address vaginal atrophy and urinary symptoms. In clinical settings, it is often evaluated in combination with local estrogen therapies, such as promestriene, to improve vaginal health scores, pH levels, and urinary frequency in postmenopausal women.
