SupAKK

SupAKK is a postbiotic formulation consisting of the fermented metabolites derived from the probiotic bacterium *Akkermansia muciniphila*. As a postbiotic, it represents a cell-free preparation of biological components that provide a health benefit to the host, offering potential advantages over live bacterial therapies in terms of stability and safety. SupAKK is primarily investigated for its therapeutic potential in treating inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and colorectal cancer (CRC). Its mechanism of action involves the modulation of host immune responses, the repair of the intestinal mucosal barrier, and the amelioration of gut dysbiosis.
