Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Super Sentinel Gamma Delta Cell (SSC) is an allogeneic, off-the-shelf gamma delta T cell therapy developed by INTELLiSTEM. Gamma delta T cells are a unique subset of lymphocytes that combine innate and adaptive immune features, allowing for MHC-independent recognition and lysis of a broad range of tumor cells without the high risk of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) associated with conventional alpha-beta T cells. The SSC platform is being investigated for the treatment of both solid and liquid (hematologic) malignancies. In exploratory clinical studies, SSC has demonstrated efficacy, including complete remission in B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, particularly when used in combination with monoclonal antibodies to leverage antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC).
