Sur1M2 is a **modified peptide derived from survivin (BIRC5)**, a protein highly expressed in many cancers and associated with inhibition of apoptosis. Sur1M2 is designed to act as a cancer vaccine antigen, specifically capable of inducing **CD8+ T-cell responses**. The primary mechanism is the induction of cellular and humoral immune responses directed against survivin-expressing tumor cells, enabling immune-mediated anti-tumor activity.
