Overview

**SURF-100** is an investigational fixed-dose ophthalmic solution combining mycophenolic acid and betamethasone sodium phosphate for **dry eye disease**. Mycophenolic acid inhibits inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase, suppressing guanine-nucleotide synthesis and lymphocyte proliferation, while betamethasone sodium phosphate is a glucocorticoid receptor agonist that reduces inflammatory gene expression. Surface Ophthalmics evaluated the product as a sterile, non-blurring eye drop in a completed randomized Phase 2 study.
