Drug intelligence / Profile preview
surgiGRAFT is a brand of dehydrated amniotic tissue allografts developed by Synergy Biologics. These products are classified as Human Cells, Tissues, and Cellular and Tissue-Based Products (HCT/P) and are derived from donated human placental tissue. The surgiGRAFT line includes single-layer amnion (surgiGRAFT), dual-layer amnion/chorion (surgiGRAFT AC), and tri-layer amnion/chorion/amnion (surgiGRAFT Dual) configurations. These grafts serve as biological scaffolds and protective barriers that support wound healing and tissue repair by providing a natural extracellular matrix and a rich supply of endogenous growth factors and cytokines. They are primarily used in the treatment of chronic wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers, as well as in various surgical applications to reduce inflammation and scarring.
