Drug intelligence / Profile preview
surgiGRAFT AC is a dehydrated dual-layer amnion/chorion membrane allograft developed by Synergy Biologics. Classified as a Human Cell, Tissue, and Cellular or Tissue-Based Product (HCT/P) under 21 CFR Part 1271, it is derived from amniotic tissue recovered from healthy donors during cesarean childbirth. The allograft serves as a surgical graft and tissue barrier that supports healing by providing a regenerative extracellular matrix rich in signaling factors and proteins. It possesses anti-inflammatory, anti-scarring, and anti-microbial properties, facilitating the development of granulation tissue in acute and chronic wounds, such as incisional dehiscence.
