**SurVaxM** is an investigational, survivin-targeted therapeutic cancer vaccine developed by MimiVax. It consists of a synthetic 15-amino-acid survivin peptide mimic, SVN53-67/M57, carrying a cysteine-to-methionine substitution at position 57 and covalently conjugated to keyhole limpet hemocyanin. The vaccine is intended to promote survivin-specific CD8-positive cytotoxic T-cell, CD4-positive helper T-cell, and humoral immune responses against survivin-expressing tumor cells. It is administered by subcutaneous injection, typically with Montanide ISA 51 and sargramostim in clinical protocols. SurVaxM is being developed principally for glioblastoma and is also in clinical development for metastatic neuroendocrine tumors, multiple myeloma, pediatric brain tumors, and lung-cancer prevention.
