Survivin dendritic cell injection is an autologous dendritic cell-based immunotherapy targeting the **Baculoviral IAP repeat-containing protein 5 (Survivin)**. Developed by **Beijing Tiantan Hospital**, the therapy involves the extraction of a patient's monocytes, which are differentiated into dendritic cells ex vivo and pulsed with survivin-specific antigens. Upon re-administration, these matured dendritic cells present survivin epitopes to the patient's T cells, priming a targeted cytotoxic immune response against tumor cells that overexpress survivin. The therapy is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial (ChiCTR2400080772) for the treatment of newly diagnosed primary glioblastoma in adults following standard postoperative chemoradiotherapy.
