Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Sutetinib malate is an orally bioavailable, mutant-selective, irreversible small molecule inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). It is designed to target and inhibit uncommon, non-resistant EGFR mutations, such as L861Q, G719X, and S768I, while sparing wild-type EGFR to minimize off-target toxicities. Sutetinib malate is being developed for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harboring these rare mutations. It was co-developed by Suzhou Teligene and Jiangsu Suzhong Pharmaceutical Group, and has received breakthrough therapy designation from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
