Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Suting Wan is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation primarily used in pediatric respiratory care for the treatment of bronchial asthma and cough, particularly during the acute onset stage characterized by heat-induced syndromes. It is typically composed of herbal ingredients such as *Fructus Perillae* (Su Zi) and *Semen Lepidii* (Ting Li Zi), which are traditionally used to descend Qi, resolve phlegm, and relieve wheezing. In clinical practice, it is frequently used in combination with other classic formulas like Maxing Shigan Tang to manage pediatric asthma symptoms. The formula is currently being evaluated in multicenter clinical trials in China to establish its efficacy and safety in children aged 5–12 years.
