Suvaxyn Circo + MH

Suvaxyn Circo + MH is a bivalent veterinary vaccine developed by Zoetis for the active immunization of pigs from three weeks of age. It targets two major swine pathogens: porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. The vaccine is composed of two inactivated components: a recombinant chimeric porcine circovirus type 1 expressing the PCV2 ORF2 protein and inactivated Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae bacteria (strain P-5722-3). Formulated as a ready-to-use emulsion for intramuscular injection, it includes an adjuvant system containing squalene, poloxamer 401, and polysorbate 80 to enhance the immune response. Clinical use of the vaccine is associated with a reduction in PCV2 viral load in blood and lymphoid tissues, decreased fecal shedding, and a reduction in lung lesions caused by M. hyopneumoniae infection.
