Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SVF-003 is a prophylactic vaccine candidate developed by SVF Vaccines (Svenska Vaccinfabriken Produktion) utilizing a dual DNA and mRNA-based platform. It is designed to provide protection against both SARS-CoV-2 (the causative agent of COVID-19) and the Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) virus. The vaccine technology is engineered to induce a balanced immune response, stimulating both neutralizing antibody production and T-cell activation. SVF-003 is currently in Phase 1 clinical development, supported by the CCHF Vaccine consortium and funded by the European Commission, with research conducted in collaboration with the Karolinska Institutet.
