Overview

SVF-gel (Stromal Vascular Fraction gel) is an autologous, adipose-derived injectable product used for tissue regeneration and volume restoration. It is produced through the mechanical emulsification and centrifugation of lipoaspirate, which removes mature adipocytes while concentrating the stromal vascular fraction (SVF). This fraction is rich in adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs), extracellular matrix (ECM) components, and various growth factors. Unlike traditional fat grafting, SVF-gel has a gel-like consistency that allows for precise injection through fine needles and promotes better survival and integration in the recipient site. In clinical settings, it is being investigated for conditions such as calcaneodynia (heel pain) associated with fat pad atrophy, where it aims to restore the cushioning properties of the heel and reduce inflammation.
