Overview

SVN-114 is a small-molecule drug candidate developed by Solvonis Therapeutics for the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Selected as the lead candidate from the company's proprietary SVN-SDN-14 discovery programme, it acts as a balanced modulator of the serotonin (SERT), dopamine (DAT), and noradrenaline (NET) transporters. By modulating these key neurochemical pathways involved in mood, emotion, and social behavior, SVN-114 is designed to enhance pro-social behaviors such as trust, empathy, and social bonding. The therapeutic aim is to assist patients in rebuilding interpersonal relationships and engaging more effectively in psychotherapy. Preclinical characterization of the compound was conducted in collaboration with Evotec SE, and the drug is currently in the lead optimization stage of preclinical development.
