Overview

SVN-SDN-14 is a preclinical small-molecule program from Solvonis Therapeutics designed as a novel class of serotonin (SERT), dopamine (DAT), and noradrenaline (NET) modulators to treat Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and related trauma-driven mental health conditions.[1][2][4][7] By simultaneously modulating SERT, DAT, and NET, these compounds aim to enhance pro‑social behaviours—such as trust, empathy, and social bonding—to improve patients’ ability to engage with therapy, rebuild interpersonal relationships, and achieve better long‑term outcomes in PTSD, where current pharmacologic options are limited.[1][2][3][7] Positive in‑vitro screening has identified three high‑performing candidates within the SVN-SDN-14 series with robust, balanced modulation of these monoamine transporters, which are now advancing into in vivo preclinical studies as Solvonis refines the lead candidate for future clinical development.[2][3][4][7]
