Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**SVNS-001** is an investigational medication-assisted treatment for severe alcohol use disorder consisting of intravenous racemic ketamine administered alongside proprietary, manualized relapse-prevention cognitive behavioral therapy. Formerly known as AWKN-001, it was renamed SVNS-001 after Solvonis acquired Awakn Life Sciences in May 2025. The program is being evaluated in the UK MORE-KARE Phase 3 study, led through the University of Exeter Clinical Trials Unit, to reduce heavy drinking and support abstinence.
