Overview
SVT-15473 is a superpotent corticosteroid ophthalmic formulation containing 0.05% clobetasol propionate, developed by Laboratorios Salvat using the proprietary IMPACT-SVT® nanoemulsion technology. This delivery system utilizes nanodroplets (less than 30nm) to enhance drug penetration, accelerate the onset of action, and provide superior ocular surface coverage compared to traditional formulations. It is specifically indicated for the treatment of inflammation and pain following ocular surgery. The drug is packaged in single-dose, preservative-free vials produced via Blow-Fill-Seal technology, designed to offer high ocular comfort with minimal impact on intraocular pressure and no post-application blurred vision.
