SVV-058 is a preclinical **armed oncolytic immunotherapy** from Seneca Therapeutics built on the Seneca Valley Virus platform derived from SVV-001. The construct is engineered to express **nitroreductase**, creating a tumor-selective prodrug activation system intended to generate cytotoxic metabolites within the tumor microenvironment. SVV-058 is designed to infect and replicate in **TEM-8-expressing** cancer cells, thereby combining tumor tropism associated with tumor endothelial marker 8 with local gene-delivered enzymatic cytotoxicity.
