Overview

SVV-069 is a preclinical **armed oncolytic virus therapy** from Seneca Therapeutics built on the Seneca Valley Virus backbone SVV-001 and engineered to express an interleukin-2/interleukin-15 fusion protein transgene. The construct is designed for intravenous administration and to preferentially infect and replicate in tumor cells expressing Anthrax toxin receptor 1, thereby selectively delivering viral oncolysis together with local cytokine-mediated immune stimulation. By combining tumor-selective viral killing with IL-2 and IL-15 driven activation and expansion of antitumor immune effector cells, SVV-069 is being developed as an investigational gene therapy and immuno-oncology agent for the treatment of cancer.
