Overview

SW1115C3 is a personalized neoantigen mRNA cancer vaccine developed by Stemirna Therapeutics. It is designed for the treatment of patients with advanced malignant solid tumors, including esophageal carcinoma and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The vaccine utilizes mRNA technology to encode patient-specific tumor neoantigens, which are identified through genomic sequencing of the individual's tumor. Upon subcutaneous administration, the mRNA is translated into neoantigen proteins that act as immunostimulants, triggering a targeted T-cell immune response against the patient's specific tumor profile. As of early 2024, clinical development of the vaccine was reported to be on hold.
