Overview

Swine influenza bivalent inactivated vaccine (H1N1 LN strain + H3N2 HLJ strain) is a veterinary vaccine developed to protect swine against swine influenza virus infections. Jointly developed by Sinovet and Yangzhou Youbang (Youbang Pharmaceutical), the vaccine contains inactivated H1N1 (LN strain) and H3N2 (HLJ strain) subtypes of the swine influenza virus. It is formulated with an imported water-in-oil-in-water double emulsion adjuvant to ensure low viscosity, ease of administration, and rapid, long-lasting immune response. The vaccine was approved in China in 2017 as a Class 3 New Veterinary Drug and is marketed under the brand name Huaganjian (华感健). It effectively prevents respiratory symptoms, reduces lung lesions, and limits viral shedding in infected herds.
