Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SWIVAX-MH is an inactivated bacterial vaccine designed for the active immunization of swine against Enzootic Pneumonia caused by *Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae*. Developed by Indian Immunologicals Limited, the vaccine contains inactivated whole-cell cultures of *M. hyopneumoniae* formulated with an adjuvant to enhance the immune response. It is primarily indicated for administration to piglets to reduce the severity of lung lesions and clinical signs associated with respiratory infections, which are major contributors to economic losses in the swine industry. The vaccine stimulates the production of specific antibodies and cell-mediated immunity to provide protection during the growing-finishing period.
