Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SXRN is a naked plasmid DNA drug developed by Jiangsu Nutai Biologics Co., Ltd. It functions as an RNA therapy by targeting miRNA-214, which subsequently ameliorates cancer cachexia-associated metabolic disorders through the regulation of the Adenosine A2A Receptor (A2AR). Preclinical studies have demonstrated its efficacy in animal models, showing benefits such as weight maintenance, prolonged survival, and suppression of tumor growth. SXRN is currently undergoing Phase I clinical trials for advanced solid tumors and cancer cachexia.
