Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SY02 is a stroke recovery therapeutic candidate developed by Aida Pharmaceuticals. It is a natural product extract derived from vegetables, characterized by its bioactivity in preventing or reducing blood clotting within the brain. The drug is intended to facilitate recovery following a stroke by improving cerebral blood flow and reducing clot-related damage. Early pharmacological studies conducted by Aida Pharmaceuticals' allied research institute indicated a favorable safety profile and efficacy in promoting full recovery with nominal side effects. As of 2006, the developer was preparing to apply for clinical trials with a target for production approval by 2010, although recent updates on its clinical progression are limited.
