Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Combination of **SyB L-0501** (bendamustine, a bifunctional alkylating agent active in lymphoid cancers) and **rituximab** (a monoclonal antibody targeting CD20 on B cells). Intended for the treatment of aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Bendamustine cross-links DNA, causing apoptosis in malignant cells; rituximab binds CD20, mediating B-cell depletion via immune mechanisms. Developed by SymBio Pharmaceuticals, the regimen has advanced to phase III clinical trials for DLBCL and completed extensive evaluation in phase I/II trials[1][4][6][7][10].
