SYH2069

SYH2069 is a dual agonist targeting the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptors, currently under development for the treatment of obesity and overweight. Developed by CSPC Pharmaceutical Group (specifically through its subsidiary CSPC Ouyi Pharmaceutical) in collaboration with Beijing Kangchuanglian Biopharmaceutical, the drug is designed as a long-acting peptide administered via subcutaneous injection. By activating both GLP-1 and GIP receptors, SYH2069 aims to achieve superior weight loss and glycemic control compared to single-receptor agonists by synergistically suppressing appetite, slowing gastric emptying, and improving insulin sensitivity. It is currently in early-stage clinical development to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and metabolic efficacy in patients with weight management needs.
