Overview

SYHA1813 + etoposide is a combination therapy being evaluated for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. SYHA1813 is a potent, small molecule multikinase inhibitor that targets vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR-1, VEGFR-2, VEGFR-3) and colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF1R). By inhibiting these targets, SYHA1813 suppresses tumor angiogenesis and modulates the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment by targeting tumor-associated macrophages. Notably, SYHA1813 is designed to cross the blood-brain barrier, making it potentially effective for CNS tumors. Etoposide is a standard cytotoxic chemotherapy agent that acts as a topoisomerase II inhibitor, leading to DNA double-strand breaks and apoptosis. The combination is currently under investigation in Phase Ib/II clinical trials (such as NCT06682611) led by Shanghai Runshi Pharmaceutical and CSPC Pharmaceutical Group for patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors.
