SYHX2008

SYHX2008 is a long-acting injectable formulation of octreotide under development for the treatment of acromegaly and gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NET). Octreotide is a synthetic somatostatin analog that inhibits the secretion of several hormones, including growth hormone and serotonin, by binding to somatostatin receptors. SYHX2008 is being developed as an alternative to existing long-acting octreotide formulations such as Sandostatin LAR. The drug is currently in phase 2 clinical trials for GEP-NET and has also been studied in phase 1 trials in healthy volunteers[1][2][6][7][9].
