SYHX2011 is an innovative albumin-bound nanoparticle formulation of paclitaxel developed by CSPC Ouyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the treatment of advanced and metastatic breast cancer. As a microtubule-stabilizing agent, the active ingredient paclitaxel binds to tubulin, promoting the assembly of microtubules and preventing their depolymerization, which effectively arrests the cell cycle in the G2/M phase and induces apoptosis. This specific formulation utilizes patented nanotechnology to enhance the delivery and efficacy of paclitaxel compared to standard albumin-bound formulations. Clinical data from a Phase 3 trial demonstrated superior efficacy in patients with advanced breast cancer, particularly those who failed combination chemotherapy or experienced recurrence shortly after adjuvant therapy. The China National Drug Administration (NMPA) has accepted the marketing application for this product.
