Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Sym027 is an experimental agonistic monoclonal antibody targeting FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3), developed by Symphogen (now part of Servier), intended as an immunotherapy to expand dendritic cells and mobilize antitumor immune responses.[3] By stimulating FLT3 signaling, Sym027 aims to increase dendritic cell numbers and function, thereby enhancing antigen presentation and potentially improving the efficacy of cancer immunotherapies such as checkpoint inhibitors.[3] It is being explored primarily in oncology indications where augmenting dendritic cell–mediated immunity could provide therapeutic benefit.[3]
