Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Symbiter is a multiprobiotic dietary supplement formulated as "Symbiter acidophilic concentrated." It contains a combination of probiotic bacterial strains designed to restore and maintain the balance of gastrointestinal microflora. The product has been studied for its ability to prevent disbiotic changes and morphological alterations in the stomach associated with hypergastrinemia, hypoacidity/anacidity, atrophic gastritis, or long-term use of antisecretory drugs such as omeprazole. Its mechanism involves modulation of gut microbiota composition and function rather than direct pharmacological action on human molecular targets. It is recommended as an adjunct in complex therapy for acid-dependent diseases of the gastrointestinal tract to prevent dysbiosis and related gastric changes[1].
