Overview

SYN-001 is a novel antibody fusion therapeutic developed by Synergys Biotherapeutics in collaboration with the University of Miami/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. It is designed for the treatment of Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC). The drug's mechanism of action involves blocking vasculogenic mimicry (VM), exhibiting anti-angiogenic activity, and retaining antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) activity. It is currently in preclinical development, with a Phase I/Phase II Fast-Track grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) supporting its progression towards clinical trials.
